Sweeney Cottage Garden The Village: The heart of Chapel Amble is the village green, overlooked by traditional cottages, an excellent pub the Malster's Arms, and the Post Office and village shop of some character. You can get all essential items there, including coal and papers; and quite a lot more!

The village is surrounded by unspoilt countryside, just 3 miles from the market town of Wadebridge, which has a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and an excellent small cinema.

Perhaps, more importantly, the village is just 3 miles from the beautiful Camel Estuary, to the West, and the dramatic North Cornish Coast, to the North. This is a truly unique stretch of beach, bays and coastline all of which hold timeless delight for all age groups.

Beaches and rock pools at Rock and Daymer Bay, with windsurfing there as well. Polzeath, for surfing: unbeatable! Sailing and waterskiing at Rock, and then there is Padstow, by the ferry or water taxi, for a night out at a smart restaurant or two.
